In our commitment to offering the highest quality product, we select the best lemons from Murcia and Levante using cutting-edge production and preservation processes.

The Orchard of Murcia and Riverbend

Lemons have been cultivated in Murcia since the 15th century, thanks to the Mediterranean climate, which creates ideal conditions for lemon production, especially along the entire Segura River valley.

The native varieties of the Murcia region are: Fino and Verna lemons, representing more than 95% of the total lemon cultivation area in Spain.

Spanish Lemons: A Synonym for Quality

Currently, Spain is the leading producer of lemons in the Mediterranean basin and also the world’s leading exporter.

Verna Lemon: A Variety from the Orchard of Murcia

We are currently in the midst of the harvest season for the Verna lemon variety, typical of the Murcian orchard. This season extends through April, May, June, July, and August.

The Verna Lemon is an indigenous species of Spain and highly significant in the Murcia region. It is a popular variety in the fresh market, known for its high resistance and longevity. It has lower acidity and a milder fragrance compared to the Fino lemon.

Fino Lemon:

The Fino Lemon is a widely cultivated variety in Spain, well adapted to the Levante microclimate.

It is a high-yield fruit with exceptional organoleptic characteristics. The Fino lemon is mainly characterized by its fragrance and the greenish notes in its essential oils.

Currently, Spain is the leading producer of lemons in the Mediterranean basin and also the world’s leading exporter.
