For years, we have worked with a holistic vision that brings together respect for the environment, efficiency in our processes, and the creation of shared value with the municipality of Santomera—our home and source of inspiration.

Our commitment to sustainability is reflected in concrete actions: zero-waste certifications, water treatment and purification, reducing and offsetting our carbon footprint, cutting plastic use, and commissioning a solar farm, among others.

CO₂ footprint reduction
Between 2020 and 2024, we have reduced our cumulative carbon footprint by 35% and undertake measures to offset the CO₂ released into the atmosphere.
Plastic consumption reduction
In 2024, we reduced plastic use by 50% compared to 2023, which translates into 24,720 kg less than the previous year. One step further toward a sustainable future, one step closer to achieving our goals.

Zero Waste: a certification that defines us
Obtaining this certification is the result of rigorous work to improve processes, environmental policies, and resource management.
This recognition awarded by AENOR marks a significant milestone for Riverbend, made possible by reprocessing, recycling, and managing over 90% of the waste generated by our operations.
ECOVADIS GOLD
We hold the EcoVadis Gold certification, meeting over 95% of international sustainability standards, and we are already working toward achieving EcoVadis Platinum status in the coming years.
SMETA 4-Pillar (audit)
We have obtained the SMETA 4-Pillar certification, ensuring our commitment to fair working conditions, health & safety, environmental sustainability, and business ethics—reinforcing the trust of our clients and partners in every project.
