Riverbend collaborates with Fundación La Caixa on child vaccination
Since 2008, the Alliance for Childhood Vaccination has been promoting the fight against child mortality alongside Gavi, The Vaccine Alliance and the ”la Caixa” Foundation. With more than 17 years of impact and millions of children vaccinated, Riverbend has joined the initiative as a silver sponsor.
Fundación La Caixa, Gavi, The Vaccine Alliance, and infant mortality
In 2008, the ”la Caixa” Foundation became the first European private partner of Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, giving rise to the Alliance for Child Vaccination, an initiative aimed at combating child mortality in the most disadvantaged territories through vaccination.
After more than 17 years of collaboration, the alliance has raised €100 million, enabled more than 13 million children to be vaccinated, and made a decisive contribution to reducing premature deaths, increasing life expectancy, and offering a better future to entire communities.
Riverbend joins Fundación la Caixa’s ‘Alliance for Childhood Vaccination’
Being a sponsor of the “la Caixa” Foundation’s Alliance for Child Vaccination means that a company or organisation has committed to financially supporting the child vaccination project jointly promoted by the “la Caixa” Foundation and Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, with the aim of reducing child mortality in developing countries through access to essential vaccines.

A silver sponsor is a category of support within this programme, designed for companies that want to integrate this cause into their corporate social responsibility (CSR) actions and contribute directly to financing vaccines.
